- On-site training
- A Unique Format
With SonomaPTI you do not have to schedule or pay for consultation separately. Consultation is built right into the training schedule and included in the standard training fee. Many other EMDRIA approved training programs require you to schedule consultation on your own and pay for consultation in addition to the training fee.
Compare our fees and our all-inclusive curriculum with any other EMDRIA approved basic training in EMDR and you will find out why clinicians chose SonomaPTI.
Other EMDRIA approved training programs offer intensive three or five day formats that compress basic EMDR training to just one or two intensive training sessions.
Research on learning and training shows that after two days of training your ability to retain new information drops quickly.
SonomaPTI’s format is designed to spread your learning and skills development over four two-day modules. With SonomaPTI’s clinically focused training format you have more opportunities for review and repeated practice of key perceptual, conceptual, and clinical skills.
SonomaPTI is unique in offering you paced, structured homework materials in each module with easy-to-use forms and scripts to support you in integrating EMDR into your current clinical setting.
